Fall Scents are Here!
Posted on August 31 2018
It's beginning to smell a lot like...fall!
No matter how much people long for hot summer days when it’s 50 degrees and raining in April, it seems that most everyone is quick to welcome fall by late August. And we at The Candle Lab are no exception! The air conditioner is turned off, windows are opened, and layers are needed for the first time in months. Pumpkin Spice lattes find their way into our hands (earlier and earlier every year, it seems!), Autumn Leaves crunch below our feet, and we turn from our grills to our stovetops to cook with Thyme and Clove. And yes - we start to fill our lives with fall fragrances!
Stop in to any of our stores to fill your home, office, car, and wherever you go with the scent of fall. Each of the dozen fragrances below can be purchased off the shelf or blended together for a truly unique scent that captures what fall smells like to you! Enjoy as a candle, reed diffuser (great for bathrooms and offices), room spray, body scrub, and more.
Autumn Leaves: Earthy and woodsy, just like jumping into a freshly raked pile of leaves when you were a kid.
Bay Leaf: Commonly used to flavor soups and stews, Bay Leaf smells herby and slightly floral and is a team favorite at The Candle Lab.
Butterscotch: If you’ve ever had one of those little orange candies wrapped in yellow cellophane, the you know exactly what sweet and warm Butterscotch smells like.
Clove: Warm, spicy, and slightly sweet, clove adds a strong note to hot drinks (cider, Chai Tea) and many holiday baked goods.
Cranberry: How would you eat your Grandmother’s dry Thanksgiving turkey if it weren’t for the tart and juicy addition of Cranberry sauce?! ‘Nuf said.
Hot Cocoa: Milky and chocolately, Hot Cocoa smells exactly like a mug of this childhood favorite.
Mulled Cider: Juicy and sweet like biting into a fresh apple, but with the added punch of spices and warmth. We recommend blending Mulled Cider with Spiced Rum for a scent you’ll want to drink.
Pecan Pie: Notorious for being the biggest calorie bomb on the Thanksgiving dessert table, the scent of Pecan Pie is nutty, sugary, buttery, and calorie-free!
Pistachio: Not quite as bold as some if its fellow nutty friends, Pistachio smells sweet, buttery, and soft without being overpowering.
Pumpkin Spice: Pumpkin, meet Spice. If you’re a fan of all things Pumpkin, you won’t be disappointed here.
Roasted Chestnut: All the nuttiness and warmth of a bold Chestnut with the woodsiness and smokiness of an outdoor fire pit.
Thyme: Earthy and herby, a smell of Thyme will remind you of roast chicken and Thanksgiving stuffing.
