Good news:  On February 2, Punxsutawney Phil, aka “The Groundhog”, did not see his shadow, predicting an early spring.  Even better news: spring is already here at The Candle Lab!  We’ve been spending the first week of February pouring and stocking our shelves with fresh spring scents.  Just smelling the fresh floral notes of Hydrangea and Tulip got us excited, not to mention the fresh and cool vibe of Jade and English Ivy.

If you’re in a bit of a winter rut (and with this nasty weather, who isn’t?), visiting one of our stores is just the boost you need.  Purchase any of our spring scents in our 11 oz candles, poured by hand in store and available right on our shelves (did we mention they are buy three, get one free?).  Or better yet, step out of the cold for a bit and pour yourself a custom-scented spring candle or body lotion.  You might love the scent of Sunflower, but add a little Sweet Grass and Cherry Blossom and just like that, you’ve been transported to a place where the sun is shining and it’s 70 degrees!  Even if the only place it’s actually 70 degrees is in your living room under the covers…

Cherry Blossom:  Light, floral, and slightly fruity, Cherry Blossom smells just like the famous trees that bloom along the Potomac River in Washington, DC every spring.
Cilantro:  Love it or hate it, Cilantro smells herby and pungent, just like the fresh herb used to flavor and garnish many culinary dishes.
English Ivy:  English Ivy smell very clean, fresh, and earthy.
Honeydew:  Honeydew is light, juicy, and slightly sweet, without being overpowering - just like a ripe melon in your fruit salad.
Hydrangea:  Hydrangea has the classic floral scent of walking through a blooming garden in the early days of spring.
Jade:  Jade is light and green with a slight hint of soft floral.
Papaya:  Tropical, sweet, bright, and juicy, Papaya smells like a slice of paradise!
Peony:  Peony is light and classically floral.
Strawberry Jam:  Strawberry Jam is smells just like freshly picked strawberries in the summer with a little added sweetness, just like homemade jam.
Sunflower:  Like a field of flowers on a sunny day, Sunflower is a beautiful, warm floral with hints of green earth.
Sweet Grass:  Sweet Grass is a green, fresh, and sweet smell - less earthy and softer than its counterpart Summer Lawn.
Tulip:  Tulip is soft and floral and smells like the first early bloom of spring.
Wild Currant:  Wild Currant smells like the berries themselves taste - a juicy blend of sweet and tart, with a little punch of spice.
